Future Stars Mini-Camp -- For Basic Skills Skaters

Join coaches Stephanie Kuban and Anna Tarassova us for a 2-Day skating experience at the World Arena Ice Hall.

This camp is for beginner figure skaters who want to take their skating to the next level. On-ice and off-ice classes will teach skaters the basics of jumping, spinning, skating skills and choreography. Games will be incorporated in all of the classes to make the learning experiences more fun. The camp will also focus on a set of very important drills that will help beginner skaters transition into competitive skaters. The focus will be on how to become competitive mentally and physically as well as how to make their performances more successful. Skaters will learn and practice new skills, while they refine the skills they already know.

This camp is geared towards skaters ages 6 and up who have passed Basic Skills Level 4 all the way up to Freestyle 6. Groups will be divided by level so skaters are consistently challenged. The camp includes two off-ice and two on-ice group lessons and parents education seminar from Olympic coach Tom Zakrajsek. Participants will also have the chance to observe some our country's best skaters during Team USA Champs Camp.
