The George Thorogood and The Destroyers “Good To Be Bad: 45 Years of Rock Tour,” which starts on April 4 in Scottsdale, Arizona and continues through August 9 in Costa Mesa, California, will stop in Colorado Springs at Pikes Peak Center on Tuesday, April 30.
Tickets for the one night only show range $51 to $66, plus applicable fees, and will go on sale Friday, February 15 at 10 a.m. MT. They can be purchased at the Pikes Peak Center box office, PikesPeakCenter.com or AXS.com or by phone at (719) 520- SHOW. They can also be purchased at The Broadmoor World Arena box office or online at BroadmoorWorldArena.com.
For the fifth consecutive year the group will support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (“LLS”) by donating $1 from each ticket sold on their “Good To Be Bad: 45 Years of Rock Tour” to LLS. They will also continue donating 100 percent of the net proceeds from the sale of their LLS branded Destroyers shirt to the organization.
Thorogood and the band flip the switch nightly, delivering what The Toledo Blade calls a “gut-bustin’, guitar-wailin’, face-meltin’, take-no-prisoners, good old-fashioned lunch bucket rock-and-roll show”.
The Sacramento Bee says, “The Destroyers remain as they have been for years – Jeff Simon on percussion, Bill Blough on bass, Jim Suhler on guitar, and Buddy Leach on saxophone. They are without a doubt one of the best touring bands in blues-rock history.”
And, as Rolling Stone once raved, “George Thorogood and The Destroyers play rock & roll hot enough to melt the polar icecaps and flood the world’s major population centers.”
